The symbols on the label and care of the lingerie

Lingerie - "fine thing" requiring the gentle handling, and very often the ignorance of the basic rules of caring for it could cause the  damage of the product.

According to GOST 16958-71, any clothes should be labeled: label trademark, branded tape with the trademark's image and the control tape. If such labeling is not present - product is made artisanal.

Any decent company is always informs customer with all the necessary information about the composition of raw materials and recommendations about the products' care, which are encrypted in the form of graphic symbols on the control tape.

Graphical symbols are international and allows to understand the properties of the textile products regardless of the language spoken by customers.

Symbols for caring of lingerie
	Washing, including soaking, pre-washing, rinsing, heating and mechanical impact.
	Whitening.
	Ironing and pressing under heat, a method of recovering the shape and appearance under the influence of the respective device.
	Sign, marked on the symbol, indicates that this product should not be treated, indicated by the appropriate symbol.
	Drying after washing in the machine or other appropriate ways.
	Sign, marked under the symbol, means that the product, which is denoted by the appropriate symbol, must be subjected by mechanical processing in a soft mode and (or) reduce the impact (e.g., temperature, moisture, aids.
The symbols denoting washing conditions
	The product can be boiled. Upon the machine washing it does not require a special care. The mechanical impact , rinsing without checking the temperature and centrifuging corresponds to the normal machine program.
	The product can be subjected to the machine washing at a temperature of not more than 95°C. The mechanical impact, rinsing with constantly decreasing temperature and centrifugation comply with a moderate machine  program.
	The product can be subjected to a machine washing at the temperature no more than 60°C. The mechanical impact, rinsing upon the constantly decreasing temperature and centrifugation comply with the normal machine program.
	The product can be subjected to a machine washing at a temperature not more than 60°C. The mechanical impact, rinsing with constantly decreasing temperature and centrifugation comply with a moderate machine program.
	The product can be subjected to a machine washing at a temperature not more than 40°C. The mechanical impact, rinsing at the temperature not more than 40°C and centrifugation correspond to the normal machine program.
	The product can be subjected to the machine washing at a temperature not more than 40°C. The mechanical impact, rinsing and centrifugation comply with the moderate machine program.
	The product can be subjected to a machine washing at a temperature not more than 30°C. The mechanical impact, rinsing and centrifuging machine comply with the moderate machine program.
	Washing must be done only manually at a temperature not more than 40°C in a short time. During the washing the product must be washed or squeezed only lightly by hand without arm-twisting.
	The product shouldn't be washed.
The symbols denoting the bleaching conditions
	The product may be subject of bleaching materials that exude the chlorine.
	The product should not be exposed by bleaching substances that excude the chlorine. Note. You can use the symbol without specifying Cl.
The symbols denoting the terms of ironing
	Lower iron plate temprature should be not more than 200 C.
	Lower iron plate temperature should be not more than 150 C.
	Lower iron plate temperature should be not more than 110 C.
	The product should not be exposed by ironing.
The symbols indicating methods of dry cleaning
	Dry-cleaning of products can be produced with the use of all common organic solvents.
	Dry-cleaning of products can be produced with the use of tetrachlorethylene (perchlorethylene), gasoline, triftortrihloretilena, or mono-ftortrichloromethane with the using of conventional treatment processes.
	Upon the dry cleaning requires some caution, depending on the applied solvent, mechanical impact and temperature upon the drying. Cleaning products can be produced with the use of tetrachlorethylene (perchlorethylene), gasoline, triftortrihloretilena, or mono-ftortrichloromethane with the limitatation of water addition.
	Dry-cleaning of products can be carried out only with gasoline or triftortrihloretanom using the conventional treatment processes.
	Upon the dry-cleaning requires the special care, depending on the mechanical impact and temperature upon the drying. The cleaning of products can be carried out only with the use of gasoline or trifluorotrichloroethane with the limitation of water addition.
	The product must not be subjected of chemical cleaning.
Symbols denoting the conditions of drying after washing
	The product can be dried in a tumble dryer (tumbler). You do not need special caution.
	The product is saturated with moisture, should only be hung for dry.
	The product is saturated of moisture, for drying should unpack only on a flat surface.

A little advices of large action:

• Conventional detergents contain brighteners and bleaching means. Therefore, they should be used only for the white textile to avoid undesirable lightening of colored clothes.
• Detergents for delicate fabrics at the low temperatures are better soluble in water than the powder, and therefore do not get stuck and do not harden in thin fibers of matter.
• Washing powder for delicate fabrics should be used for all coloured items.
• The use of means for imparting the softness for textiles is not required upon the washing of soft and delicate materials.
• Washing in the gently regime especially recommended for sensitive materials (e.g., lace ).
• Use of washing bags prevents the damage of lingerie, moreover in such way are decreasing the reducing mechanical rubbing bras wires and prevents their falling upon the washing process.
• Strongly contaminated area should be pre-treated with a special paste for wash or soak.
• First of all, the blood must be rinsed with cold water, and the sooner the better.
• Swimsuits after every wearing thoroughly washed in the washing powder, since the salty and chlorinated water, and also the sunscreen, skin oils and sweat can damage the tissue structure.
• The white items should washed separately from color.
• Means for washing should be dosed according to the degree of contamination.
